Yes, the topic of this post is Bondage. This is a bit of a rehash of my last post but enough new to make it interesting. LOL
Lilly and I got on the topic a few weeks ago as she was completing the audio work for Overexposed (I am still anticipating an early February release). She had just completed the final credits and we were discussing a short story I had just written, Drive In Threesome. She commented that she liked the variety of the short stories, toys, outdoor threesomes, etc. She went on to suggest I write a short story to coincide with upcoming holidays and pick a theme. Hmmm, I loved the idea, and Valentines day was just around the corner. But the theme? Again, Lilly to the rescue as she suggested bondage.
So, my original thought was whips, chains and nipple rings? I wasn't sure about that, I don't mind writing kink but I prefer to write about stuff I've done. It makes it personal and, I think adds depth to the story. I told Lilly I liked the idea but needed a little time to think about an approach.
So, I did some research. Yep, an erotic/romance writer doing research. Laugh now. Seriously, I like to have an idea about the things I put to paper so I looked up bondage and, of course, found there is an incredible range of what falls into that category. Everything from my original thought of chains to holding your partner down.
Well, Lilly and I agreed to write the short story, each of us taking a turn and writing a chapter that catered to our fantasy 'Bondage' scenario. We enjoyed it and found it incredibly hot. Hotter knowing we were sharing 'real' fantasies with our readers.
